MAICO MA-33 PC Audiometer – Small, Fast & Flexible Hearing Test System

The MAICO MA-33 is a compact PC audiometer designed for professionals needing a reliable, fast, and flexible hearing test solution. It connects via USB to your laptop or desktop, making setup simple and highly mobile for clinics, schools, occupational health units, or home visits.

It supports both Air and Bone Conduction audiometry, giving you full capability for threshold testing. Many test methods are built in: SISI (Short Increment Sensitivity Index), Stenger (for detecting non-organic hearing loss), and the Automatic Hughson-Westlake protocol for efficient threshold determination. For pediatric hearing screening, the Pilot test adds an interactive element with multilingual picture pointing to engage children and better assess hearing in young or non-cooperative patients.

Results appear swiftly (in about one second) and are stored in the MAICO Patient Database, letting you track patient history, export results etc. The user interface is clean and intuitive, operated using typical PC peripherals (mouse / keyboard). Despite its capabilities, the MA-33 remains small, portable, and is designed to adapt — software updates and optional expansions allow you to extend its functionality in future.
