MAICO easyScreen BERAphone ‒ OAE + ABR Combo Screener with Integrated BERAphone

The MAICO easyScreen BERAphone is a premium combo-screener built for newborn hearing screening and clinic use, integrating ABR and OAE capabilities in a single compact device. Designed to reduce operating costs and improve hygiene, the BERAphone comes with built-in electrodes and transducers, eliminating the need for many disposable items. The use of the CE-Chirp stimulus along with a patented detection algorithm ensures fast, accurate ABR results—even in challenging nursery or clinic settings.

The system is operated via a large colour touchscreen with intuitive navigation. On-screen guidance helps operators ensure correct electrode contact, acceptable impedance, proper probe fit, and minimal background interference. Alerts and feedback are built in to improve the reliability of screening results. The device boots quickly, has long battery life, and comes with a wireless charging cradle. All parts and accessories can be organized neatly using optional easyCart.

For data management, HearSIM patient database and device manager are optional but provide powerful tools for storing, managing and exporting screening results. The adjustable electrode design (spring-loaded, adaptable forehead electrode) makes it more comfortable and more suitable even for tiny infant heads. Colour LEDs on the BERAphone show test status, selected ear, impedance etc.
