Interacoustics AD629 Diagnostic Audiometer – Standalone & PC-Based Hybrid Audiometry System

The Interacoustics AD629 is a high-end diagnostic audiometer that combines the best of both worlds—functionality of PC-based systems, wrapped up in a standalone device. With the AD629, you can perform full diagnostic audiometric evaluations including air and bone conduction, masking, speech audiometry, and optional advanced assessments like high-frequency audiometry and speech-in-noise. The unit features a 5.7-inch colour articulating display, which lets you view test results and audiograms clearly, with customized views.

The speech test materials are built in, and you can also connect via MP3/CD or live voice. Step sizes of 1.2 or 5 dB let you do precise threshold measurements. There are options for tests like SISI, Stenger, ABLB, Weber; plus special protocols like TEN, Langenbeck, Békésy when using the extended test battery.

Even though it has robust features, AD629 is portable, efficient in workflow: store multiple patient profiles, define user protocols (so several operators can share device without resetting), and later export results or integrate with EMR software.
